  Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies If you are a fan of classical cooking, this recipe is for you. Once you try this recipe, you won't be able to stop making these cookies. These measurements are for 12 big cookies, maybe 10 if you like them thicker like me.  Ingredients 225 g (1 cup) unsalted butter , softened 150 g (¾ cup) granulated sugar 165 g (¾ cup packed) light brown sugar 2 large eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 350 g (2¾ cups) all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 300 g (about 2 cups) chocolate chips or chunks Optional: flake sea salt for topping Instructions Preheat oven Preheat to 180°C (350°F) . The name of the dish that I'm showing you today is a carrot and almond cake  with cream cheese frosting. I also offer a little healthier version of it below the original version recipe. This cake serves 8 people, with pretty generous portions.
